20 of my favorite free fonts!

I love to designing. I don't know how good I am yet, but I love it.
My favorite part of designing? messing with fonts.
I'm so obsessed, there's so many...and so many things you can do with them.
Oh they're great.
Long story short, I thought I'd share my favorites with you! :)

    I am not very smart....but where do you save fonts to make them show up with ones on Microsoft Word? Thanks!

      If you have windows; Find the font in your downloads folder. Double click it, so that it opens up into it's own folder. And there should be a button at the top that says install.
      OR
      You can go to your control panel from your start menu. Search fonts, and then open up that folder. (it should show all of your already installed fonts). open up the font folder that you downloaded (again from your download folder) and drag the single file into the font's folder.

      I couldn't get any of these fonts to appear after the download. Any idea as to how to get "things we said"? There are tons of other fonts, just none of the free fonts listed above.

      I'm sorry you're having trouble with these fonts! They do work though, I have them all on my computer. here's a link to help downloading them!

    So cute! I found some more on that website, but can't seem to get them to "install" (I followed your directions from above). Perhaps I just have too old of a laptop :S

    i LOVE the mayonaise font but it only downloaded a couple of the letters.. anyone else have the same problem?

      not sure if you still had this question - but i noticed the same thing and then realized the Mayonaise font only does capital letters!

      Yeah the mayonaise one does only type in capital letters. Try that if some aren't showing up!

    Thank you for sharing these fonts. I've just recently begun downloading fonts such as these and my documents, church newsletter, promotions, etc., look so much better.

    To Kaylyn above, I downloaded "Mayonaise" and it worked for me. Maybe try downloading it again?

    I figured it out! For those of you using Windows Vista, you must EXTRACT all first, so if you download the file, then right click on it, extract all, then in the window that pops up, right click again, and select install! :)

    For those of you with XP - the process for download is a little different. You must extract each font you want to install like Bobbie said above.

    I moved all extracted files into a new folder so they were easy to find.

    Once all your files are together ctrl right click on all you want to install. then do the following -
    copy
    my computer
    local disk (c:)
    windows
    fonts

    They all should copy right over.
