Media Monday: Wedding Edition

I have music for you. lots of music.
I've told you 100 times, but Ben has the greatest taste in music.
He always finds these bands and songs that makes me think "how have I survived without this."

Once a month he puts together a playlist for our photo page.

We here, at peaches and lavender, are sooo lucky.

In our first spring we've booked 3 weddings.

And 2 of them are this week! We are too excited.

One of those lucky couples is Zach and Madeline!

Music to my ears.

Literally.
I went to a concert @ velour in provo on thursday?
It was so much fun. It also helps my brother has in's with the band.
(He's way cooler than I will ever be.)

The line up; Salazar, Lady and Gent, Ponderosa, and The Mighty Sequoyah.
All these voices while covered with rough exteriors were charming, and golden.

"I am mine" Tshirt

One day a long time ago I  did a post featuring a song by Brooke Waggoner called "I am mine."

This song...I'm wildly obsessed with it.
I listen to it at least every other day.
It's one of those songs that just fills me up,
and makes me feel...understood.
(does anyone have a grater, cause i have cheese.)
but seriously. i love it.
so much, that i made a tshirt.

Materials:

T shirt

Freezer Paper

Fabric Paint

Iron

Exacto Knife (or major scissor skills)

A paint brush (I used a small sponge brush)

1. First draw, or trace your design onto your freezer paper.
2. Cut out the design with your exacto knife
3. Iron the freezer paper down onto your t shirt
(and put something between your shirt, so the paint doesn't bleed through)
4. Paint it in. Let it dry.
5. Pull of the freezer paper & be awesome

My favorite part of general conference is the whole part.
It always makes me feel happy, and hopeful, and wonderful.
It makes me feel a bit like this song, by my favorite band.

today is october first.

im freakin out....like i better get to work on my new years resolutions.

What I learned about concerts that I already knew but just forgot.

1. 75% percent of concert goers are douches. (pardon my french)
2. I hate getting pushed in a crowd
3. I'm stronger for a little one. Push me? I'll push ya right back.
4. I hate the smell of cigarette smoke and weed.
5. Live music is so amazing.
6. I need to go to more concerts.

brand new was amazing if you were wondering.
manchester orchestra was equally great.

These tears are a joke.

I have this problem called
"all happy moments in reality tv bring me to tears"
Seriously. Its a joke.
Someone finds a dress via say yes to the dress? Tears.
A proposal through a cake on cake boss? Tears.
3 judges turn around on the voice? Tears.
I swear I'm not that big of a baby.
But this one? i was watering up.

Today's Monday.

Most friends are starting school..but I'm not.
I'm just trying to make a million dollars so I can go to school.
But watching everyone else start school is getting me in the autumn mood.
