Bath & Body Works Haul

I recently stopped by Bath & Body Works because I hear from a friend they were having a sale.
and my perfumery has running low low low.
First of all, a great sale.
buy 3 signature colletion, get 3 free. and their lip products, buy 2 get 1 free.

I spent too much money, but I smell delicious.
I got lotion, body wash, and misting spray in two different scents.

First, french lavender & honey. im obsessed with the packaging.
I think it's so delicate and pretty.
Whats it like you ask? Well as put by Bath & Body Works...
Experience the charming south of France and gorgeous sunswept fields of lavender. This effortlessly beautiful scent is a fresh blend of flowering French lavender, lily of the valley and nectarine de Provence warmed with sunkissed honey and white oak musk. 

agreed.

Second, Cashmere glow. I love this scent. It' a lot more musky than the previous, and makes me feel sophisticated...like I should be wearing jewels and high heels.
which I don't do...... like ever, but I think smelling that way is nice.

I don't love this packing as much, mostly cause im not into jewels, or glitter & sparkles...but it smells so yummy.

Cashmere glow fragrance wraps you in comforting warmth and ultimate luxury. This luxurious scent is a warm blend of golden peach, exotic berries and glowing lily petals indulged with shimmering vanilla and cashmere musk.

Last but not least lips. I bought two mentha lip glosses and a rose salve.

The packaging on that salve makes my heart happy. like real happy.

like it's one of those things that I'm like "I want people to see me with this so they think I'm cute!"

aaannnndddd you can use it for face, lips, cuticle, knees, elbows. im obsessed. 

I always used to get this lip gloss in middle school, and I thought I'd try it out again. 

I got vanilla mint, and ultra mentha. 

The mentha helps your breath smell fresh, and its clear which I love, no glitter which I love. 

Basically I'm way too happy with all my purchases.

I would recommend you to stop by, they have lots of yummy scents and deals.

Mothers day is coming up too, so there's that.

What's in my purse/Lets be friends.

I was reading secret life of bee a little bit ago, and I discovered every time I read her blog I'm all like "I want to be friends with her." As I read her blog I feel like I'm getting to know her, and I don't think my blog is like that. Most likely cause I'm awkward and try and keep most of the world from seeing that, so I thought I'd start out small. (slowly but surely, you'll all know how weird I am, and we'll be friends) So, what I keep in my purse.* cause that says a lot about me? correct me if I'm wrong.

*this post was prompted by Credit Card Insider, a great place to go if you're a child like me and need to be educated on how credit cards, credit, and debt work. 

I don't keep a lot of things in my purse. Mostly because I'm doing this whole "go to school 5 days a week" thing so I'm always carrying a backpack. but my purse holds my easy access go to essentials.

1. My wallet. I don't need nothing fancy which I find most wallets are, so this was like my dream. I got it at target and I'm obsessed. Easy access to my cards? but a cute little strap to hold them in. one big zip up pocket for cash, coin, and stamp cards to jamba and cafe rio. 

check out that 1, rollin in the dough man. 

2. Color burst lip butter. I love them. A great combo of sheer, and color, and moisture. I'm a fan. I use fig jam, slightly brown. It's beautiful, get it. 

3. EOS Chapstick, because I'm addicted to great chapstick. As you can see mine has much wear and tear. 

4. Headphones. Walking around campus, I always listen to music, so I need those babies ready to go. Easy access. It's gotten to the point if I'm walking and not listening to music I'm like "What's happening right now...? why is it so quiet?" it's a problem, but not one I'm concerned enough to fix. 

the little clicker thing makes my life easy, cause i don't have to pull out my iphone to change the song.

5. Gum. I love chewing gum, orbit's my fav. I also don't have a boyfriend so I gotta keep that breath fresh.

Polish & Perspectives

I got a new nail polish. Its a dark periwinkle purpley sorta thing.
its also glitter for days. I love it. So much. 

p.s. obviously this cold weather is already doing a number on my hands. 

There's been a lot of things lately that make me feel like I have a new perspective.
I'm gaining more respect for myself, and everything that I am.
My sensitivity, femininity (or lack thereof), sense of humor and general opinion.
Everyday I'm learning how to better care for myself.

I'm slowly but surely realizing what is most important, and what is worth sacrificing to get it.
I'm spending more of time obtaining goals and working towards being the person I'd like to be.
A photographer, designer, future wife and mom, a disciple.

I'm getting happier all the time.

Oh hey, long time no see.

It's almost been 2 months since I blogged. It feels like a life time.

I miss sharing my thoughts and connecting with blogger friends. 

So here I am to do just that. 

I'll be quick for today. Update you on all things Rachel.

I'm jump starting my life. Trying hard to be productive and get things done.

Trying hard to fill my days with things that will help me become the girl I'd like to be.

I've started doing photography on my own.
I'm working on starting an etsy print shop. 

I'm going back to school in the spring to major in visual arts and communications with an emphasis in photography.

Oh and...
I have a niece due in December, and a new dog.
(i'm super excited about both of those things)

I'm just so excited for things to be taking steps forward.

I've felt at a standstill for a really long time, and that is just not very fulfilling.

I'm a happy camper.

So I'm moving.

It's way crazy. and weird.

Last night was my last night in this town i've grown to love.
I went walking through my favorite part of town,
and "cleaned the sink" with my favorite Logan people.

a room for my bath

How many days til I move? Lets just say I can count it on one hand.

I'm excited, but the nervousness is starting to overpower all my feelings about it.

I keep telling myself that I get my own bathroom.

(It's the thought that keeps me going.)

Isn't it ironic

My last post was about how I redecorated my bedroom.

Finally hung everything on the wall, organized everything...

well I'm moving. 

post title? get it? yeah..

I'm sort of freaking out. (understatement of the century.)

I'm also still a child? as in I've never lived more than 20 minutes away from home.

I've never used a coin operated laundry machine.

I've never gone into an apartment not knowing anyone I was going to live with. 

I'm kind of nervous and scared. (in the competition for understatement of the century.)

but I don't have a job. and I'm not really pursuing my major like I need to be.

and I just sort of need a kick start. 

All in all I think it will be good. It'll help me grow up a bit more.

And while I'm not living somewhere fancy,

I've decided that every parent needs a story

of when they lived in a crappy apartment to tell their kids with they get whiny. 

I'll make sure to remember every detail. 

Plus, I have my own bathroom. I've never had one of those before.
I'm scervited. (scared, nervous, excited.)

a room for my bed

My bedrooms small, and usually messy. 

I have a gigantic bed that takes up 75% of my room, 

and more than not, I resent it.

I've also got lots of things..mostly crafty things, but things none the less.

Lately I've been trying to, slowly but surely, organize my life.

I woke this morning with a burst of energy.

and from 9-4 I decorated my room nonstop.

(seriously, I secretly forgot to eat...all day)

I hung bird cages, cut out chalk board paper and tea cups.

I hot glued lace, filled a mason jar, and rearranged my walls a 100 times.

I can tell you now, I love my bedroom much more.

its pretty cute. I'm probably never going to leave again. 

(for the fact it's adorable, and the fact my feet ache a bit)
