If "killer" was a measurement of time it would be my week.

This'll be a quick updated on all things Rachel.

Seriously, I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden I was up to my ears in homework and life.
math test, history assignments, a speech, lost my usb, seriously great.
Update: my math test went alright, my speech went well, and my usb is still missing.

There are some great things that happened this week though...
I got new pants? They are great and these ones...I'm obsessed.

I was able to spend time with friends, namely Arielle.
I'm slightly obsessed with her. She's the cutest mom and wife and friend and blogger and human.
Spending time witth the Borcik family is high on the list of "my favorite things to do."
I could play board games with them for days, it helps they have a baby that cute enough to eat.
Update: I'm not a cannibal.

I also went on a photo adventure with with an old high school classmate!
It was seriously so fun, one of those "How were we not friends in high school?" things.
I'll be posting those soon on my facebook photo page. Take a look if you haven't yet!

I've been trying hard to get back into blogging because I love it...duh.
But then weeks like this come along, and I'm like yeah....we'll see what happens..
Hopefully over the next couple a'weeks i'll be posting a geometric tee diy, a new font post (i have a million new favorites), photoshop brushes, hairstyle diy, new blog design.


I'm going to California for spring break in a few hours and will be on the road a bit, hopefully I can get some stuff done in the car. And also be warm on the beach.
Side note: The uvu library is freezing always........

I'm so excited to share my trip with you, Heaven knows I'll be photographin that coast line.
I'm hope someone reading this enjoys that i'm scatter brained for days.

Afternoons with Arielle

I'm in between jobs.
This means free days, which I usually don't have.

I spent today's free day with Arielle.
We did lunch, went antiquing and thrifting.
Crafts were made, and music was played.

I was also lucky enough to take pictures of that sweet girl.

She's a beauty right? I'm lucky to have pretty friends.

I love my friends alot.
I think they are lovely. and hillarious. and great.

Lately we've been out for late night dinners.
Strolling along downtown streets.
Dancing in living rooms, and on lake docks.

They're those friends you know you'll have forever.
And I'm so lucky I'll have them forever.

This memorial day weekend has been lovely,
and I still have tonight and tomorrow.
My hopes are high. I hope yours is going great too.

DIY Vintage Light Switch Plate

I met up with my fellow blogger friends Arielle and Brittney. 

We decided to do a craft, and through pinterest inspiration, this is what we did!

Before & After

1. First find a pretty plate(s). We got ours, under a dollar each, at thrift stores like D.I. and savers!

2. Triple bag them up? and slam them on the concrete. I was so nervous for this step, just because the plates even sliding in the car was sending chills in my spine. But it was easier, and a lot more fun then I thought it'd be!

3. We laid down our china pieces in a pan, for easy sorting, and picked out the pieces we wanted to use! (obviously, be carefully not to cut yourself up)

4. Next, lay down a patter then glue away. We used hot glue, but a few of my pieces have already been bumped off...so I say SUPER GLUE! :)

That time me and Austin went driving

I have this friend named Austin.
We've been friends since I was 12.
I've had many experiences with this kid....
Dating, fighting, not talking, best friends, first kiss.
(and too many others)

Today we went on a drive...and found large fields, muddy pathways, and crazy tiny canyon towns.
We talked about his cute new girlfriend, my plans, our favorite shows, and funniest memories.
He let me take pictures of him, and I'm not even sad about it.

Late Christmas

The best friend was in Colorado with his family for about 3 weeks so we had Christmas the other day!
He got me something pretty adorable, and I thought I'd share!

a "drink", popcorn, some movies, candy

and some movie reels to write quotes on, from our favorite movies!

ohhh and this way fun camera keychain. it clicks and flashes. 

it's great. 

It was a happy late christmas.

Hope this new year is treating you well. 

Our phone conversations always make me laugh.

"I keep kissing frodo (his plump siamese cat) every 5 five seconds, we've been cuddling all day"
"Oh no! My oreo!"
"I saw the coolest mid evil batman costume today!"

This sums up my best friend and his love for his cat, oreos, and batman.
missing that kid too much.

11 days down. 7 to go.

It's been a fabulous holiday!

Me and Ben decided to have a Christmas shoot this year! 

It was freezing....and dark...and I wasn't a perfect sport.

But I love how they turned out.

And Christmas break with all of my friends has been lovely!

I also visited my birth family (p.s. i'm adopted.)
