Media Monday: Wedding Edition

I have music for you. lots of music.
I've told you 100 times, but Ben has the greatest taste in music.
He always finds these bands and songs that makes me think "how have I survived without this."

Once a month he puts together a playlist for our photo page.
And I'll be sharing April's playlist today.

We here, at peaches and lavender, are sooo lucky.

In our first spring we've booked 3 weddings.

And 2 of them are this week! We are too excited.

One of those lucky couples is Zach and Madeline!
We did their engagements & here are a few of their groomals!

Ben took some pictures of me in this dress I bought at H&M a couple weeks ago.
I am obsessed with it.
It's maroon, and flowy, and flattering, and has a sweetheart neckline to boot.

Music to my ears.

Literally.
I went to a concert @ velour in provo on thursday?
It was so much fun. It also helps my brother has in's with the band.
(He's way cooler than I will ever be.)

The line up; Salazar, Lady and Gent, Ponderosa, and The Mighty Sequoyah.
All these voices while covered with rough exteriors were charming, and golden.

Jean vests and the weirdo behind the blog.

I have this old jean jacket. I bought it in 9th grade.
I never had the guts to throw it out.
but it also makes me look the age I was when I got it.

The grungy  look is totally in right now?
I decided to cut off the sleeves so I can be punk in a denim vest.

Before: I'm 14. 

After: I'm totally punky now.

 sorta punky. 

I'm weird, like a total weirdo.
I often find myself doing things and thinking "I'm sooo glad no one was around to see that"
but being weird is such a part of who I am. and it comes out weather I like it or not.

Gathering Inspiration.

In the next month?
Me and ben have 2 groomals, 3 seniors, and 3 weddings.

Needless to say I've been gathering inspiration. 

or in other words, my pinterest is blowing up.

General Conference.

There's nothing like being going to the conference center to hear the prophet and apostles speak.
I'm too lucky a friend of mine had an extra ticket.
My favorite part? When the prophet walks into the room.
Everyone stands, and the room falls still. You could hear a pin drop.
It gives me chills every time, he's such a great man.

I have loads of notes from the session,
so I thought I'd limit myself to my favorite quotes from my favorite talk.
No surprise they're from Jeffrey R. Holland right?

-Hold fast to the ground you've already won, hold fast to what you already know.
-In this church what we know will always trump what we don't know.
-Imperfect people is all god has ever had to work with..That must be terribly frustrating to him, but he deals with it..So should we.
-Do not be afraid to ask for help, God will send help from both sides of the veil.
-Belief is a precious word, and an even more precious act.
-Fan the flame of your faith, for all things are possible.

Come listen to a prophet's voice.

I feel lucky. I belong to a church that has knowledge of a living prophet.
One that communicates with God. And even more lucky?
We get to hear him speak, and educate us, and guide us, and care for us.

General Conference is a great, and wonderful time.
Saturday's session did not disappoint.

& I get to go to hear the sunday afternoon session in person. 

this is a happy girl.

Eyelash extensions!

I finally got some.
I've been debating for months.
I couldn't be happier.

Lazy me, loves anything that helps me look better without even trying!

I seriously woke up late this morning, and my first thought was, "welp guess i'm not looking decent today!"
Check that! I look all done up thanks to some long luscious eyelashes!
Really, not to be conceited or anything...
but everytime I look in the mirror now I can't help but bat my eyes a bit!

I got them done by my friend, and best friends sister-in-law Nikki!
The process is long,
but what can you expect when you're gluing little eyelashes to all of your littler eyelashes!
She was so great and keeping me entertained,
even putting on an Ingrid radio station via pandora. (always a great choice.)
