See ya later Logan town.

So I'm moving.
Again.
Today.
(p.s. i moved like 3 months ago, if you didn't know)

It's way crazy. and weird.
and im excited. and sad.
and it's just not real.

Last night was my last night in this town i've grown to love.
I went walking through my favorite part of town,
and "cleaned the sink" with my favorite Logan people.
Here are the picture's of my last logan day.

i blinked, but then i really liked it.

the mustache on my car needs replacing.

my favorite logan back alley

fuchsia lips

floral oxfords make for pretty days..and pictures.

love this crazy crew.

tons of ice cream. in fact, a sink full.

i didn't mean to really lick it, it just happened.

Thanks Logan.

15 Free Fonts!

Hi Guys!
I'm a lucky duck!
While on my cruise the blog hit 100,000 views.
I feel way special, so thanks friends :) thanks so much.

Here are some new font's I've stumbled upon.
I'm obsessed with all of these.
(just so you're aware)
I hope you like them as much as I do.

I woud love for you to share this picture on your blog? If you could keep it to just the picture (not the actual font links) and put a link to my page so I can also get traffic for my hard work I would thoroughly appreciate it! Thanks for using blog etiquette

10 things I've learned.

  • I don't mind airports.
  • I do mind 25 bug bites on my body via Honduras.
  • I love the Cayman Islands
  • I'm not very good at swimming. (understatement.)
  • Even though I'm a few hundred lbs lighter than a majority of my other cruisians I probably should make use of my gym pass.
  • I'm not cool. Just a total dork.
  • Reading has a bigger place in my heart than I let myself believe.
  • Losing my debit card is annoying.
  • My family is crazy great.
  • This was definitely a thanksgiving for the record books.

Pictures to come.
Happy Monday. I'm glad to be back. :)

Airports and hot coacoa and open seas

I'm in Florida.
I'm going to board a ship so I can go to Mexico, Honduras, Belize, and the Cayman Islands.
I spent my morning by sipping salted caramel hot cocoa with my travel buddies
(did I mention that I only got 3 hours of bad sleep on our midnight flight? Yeah good times)

I'm so excited to spend thanksgiving on a cruise.
It's going to be so lovely.
I don't know when ill be blogging next...
But until then...

P.s. happy thanksgiving

DIY: Photoshop Christmas Trees

I know it's not even thanksgiving yet, but I'm so excited for Christmas.
Secretly I've been listening to the Relient K Christmas cd a lot. (let it snow baby, let it reindeer)
I recommend it if you want a change of pace in your holiday tunes.

Anyways....
I've been experimenting with Christmas card templates lately,
and through some steps I made these Christmas trees.
It takes a few steps, but they're so cute, if I do say so myself.
As usual, I hope it all makes sense.   :)

1. Select a large patterned image to use the base of your tree.

2. Select a hard round brush. Change the size to your liking, and change the spacing to 80%.

3. Create a new layer, and drag your brush along the corner of your image..

3. and then fill in the rest

4. Select your corner by pressing ctrl + the layer

5. Hide your black corner layer, copy the background layer, and fill with a green paint.

6. Change the layer blending mode from normal to linear burn.
(i've also had good results with the options color, and hue.)

7. Merge the background layer's and then copy and paste the corner onto a new file.

8. Adjust the size, and the angle

9. Copy the layer as many times as you'd like,
and layer them in such a way that they lay on top of each other.

10. From another file copy and paste a rectangle for the trunk of your tree.

11. Using the polygon tool, make a star. Copy and paste it.
(I used the same file as my trunk and just added paint filled in yellow, and lowered the opacity)

free font friday + photography

Three Things.
1. I'm so glad it's friday. Halloween via a daycare is exhausting.
This week has been never ending.

2. Remember this post? Well here's another one of our favorite's.
It has a dark, tim burton-y feel to it. Twistedly pretty.
Big thanks to the best friend behind the camera, and willing friend in front of it.

3. Free font friday...I love it today. It's so random but great.
And I usally refrain from posting dingbats, but I love this one. :)

ENJOY!
HAPPY FRIDAY!

The first of november.

November to me incompasses everything fall.
When I think of november I think of...
yellow leaves, scarves, pies, windy days, and just....fall.
I love everything about November.
So much so, I made a free printable...

Happy November first friends,
have a lovely day!
