this is halloween.

Can you even believe it? This year is speeding by at an incredible rate.
Costumes? I made mine. I couldn't find a dress to use...
So naturally I turned to the DI
I bought a XXL mens shirt, tailored the arms, dyed the fabric, and painted on apples.
ohh and I sewed our ears and tails.
I'm pretty proud, if you can't tell.
Anyways here is me and the best friend in our costumes!

It was a photoshop day.

One of those days where everything just flows, 

and I make something I love.

I've been wanting a new blog look for a while, 

but today it just happened. 

and frankly? I'm too happy about it.

Maybe I put this out there too much..or not enough?

Not terrible, just terrific

Have I ever told you how much I adore working with kids?

They are so great.

Everyone says 2 year olds are "terrible."

But they're really just terrific.

I think they're sweet, and funny, and lovely.
Today I got multiple "love you's" and cheek kisses.

And then I saw this video..and I died.

It's the greatest. Enjoy.

basically i love it.

My favorite part of general conference is the whole part.
It always makes me feel happy, and hopeful, and wonderful.

Me, the wall, and 6 rolls of washi tape. p.s. my giveaway.

My apartment. Looks like an apartment.
I really wanted to make it look so homey,
decorating, its among my favorite things to do.

So I found this via pinterest.
and decided to put a spin on it.
I used some floral and striped washi (craft) tape by recollection, that I bought at michaels!
(i literally can't find any online, but they have tons at michaels)

Here's before....

 and here's after :)

It was so easy.

All I did was stretch the tape from one end of the wall to the other,

and measure 10 inches in between each stripe. :)

I'm thoroughly excited about it :)

although.....I know it's meant for paper crafts, so occasionally the edges would come off a little. 

To get the edges to stay I used a glue stick?
Something that would hold well enough to keep it on, but weak enough we could take it off. 

Other than that I'm sooooo happy with the outcome!!

im freakin out....like i better get to work on my new years resolutions.
